They were good to handle throughout the yards, race and crush. Six were slightly agitated when in the crush and would exit quickly. All settled once back with the herd and remained settled when being photographed.

Assessor Comments
A line of vendor bred, good to very good quality Angus and Angus x steers. Steers are medium to large frame and would suit to background to the top end of the export feeder steer market. LWR of of 230kg to 393kg at assessment, most of the steers are August - November 2025 drop. Two heavier steers were out of season calves and are approx 6 months older than balance. They were yard weaned in April onto oaten hay before moving into the paddock with access to Riverina weaner pellets up until start of July. One steer noted with slight blue eye spot in one eye, four steers were noted with small patches of hair missing on their faces, necks or bodies. Steers have had two shots of 7 in 1 and had their first dose of Bovilis MH + IBR in April. Steers are sired by registered Lawson Angus bulls & Angus paddock bulls with Booroomooka blood.
