Assessor Comments
A line of vendor bred good F1 heifers out of well bred Angus cows and sired by top quality registered Trent Bridge and Strathdale Wagyu bulls. These heifers have been doing well since weaning in March but with a tightening season are entering the market early. These heifers along with the other line in the sale consist of the full heifer drop, none are being retained. They weighed between 191kg and 274kg at assessment and have an estimated average weight of 242.7kg at delivery. Vendor also has a heavier line of heifers and all the brothers to these heifers in this sale. Note: Photos and videos were taken of 95 head. The extra 15 taken out of this line dropping it to 80 head were taken from the heavier end (the 15 were 275 -284kg) of this light heifer line after the photos and videos were already taken.
