Steers were well behaved throughout assessment. Brought up by a single handler, all leading up the race well. A bit of anxious behaviour in the crush from a few - stomping/tail flicking. Most exited the crush sensibly, with a few wanting to rush out and get back to their brothers. Were good to walk amongst and get photos, just a few with a bigger flight zone that didn’t appreciate the pressure and pushed their way to the back.

Very nice line of the McNamara family Steers. Renowned baby bullocks that always attract the attention of repeat purchasers, lining up in the front lane at the weaner sales, often being brought by in-house clients. 25 years of purchasing high growth Scott’s Angus Bulls, and now gaining some influence from Ardrossan Angus. Plenty of length & frame to work with, and the scope to take in any direction, be it a domestic or export market in their future. These steers have been flying along on a fresh forward Oat crop, and have been put out on a fresh pasture paddock of Clover, Rye & Phalaris until delivery.
