Heifers were generally good to handle throughout the yards & race. Three were slightly agitated in the crush. All settled when back in the yard together and remained quiet while being photographed.

Assessor Comments
A good to mostly very good quality line of vendor bred Angus & Angus cross heifers. They were yard weaned onto a Barley, Oaten hay & soybean meal ration in May and have been grazing a good quality oats crop since August up until assessment. Heifers will be kept in a holding yard with access to ad - lib good quality oaten hay up until delivery. They were assessed as 70% medium framed with the balance large. Heifers are by quality Lawson, Hazeldean & Mooroobie Angus bulls with a focus on selecting above breed average 600 Day and IMF EBV's. The top 65% VG quality heifers could have the potential to join and make very good quality future breeders. Please note the 15 AAX heifers were added to the line post sale so won't appear in the video, see photos. Located 5km south of Moonie, yards 500m in off the Leichhardt Highway. Heifers to be offered as c/kg live and $/head, please note weighing instructions & special conditions of sale.
