Assessor Comments
Well bred line of young steers presenting in store condition. These steers are the product of a very wet and cold winter on the southern highlands, which has been far from ideal for their performance. Steers will thrive if given the opportunity in warmer/dryer conditions. Steers are all frame carrying minimal condition and were weighed 205-305kg at assessment. They are generally filtered through vendors other properties and taken to feeder weights but seasonal conditions on other farms is preventing this from happening. They are carry a clean bill of health and are part of a well managed operation. They are bred from solid moderate to larger framed females and are excellent feedback has been provided from previous purchasers.
