Offering a load of Angus x Angus and Angus cross heifers weighing 222kg after a 14 hour lock up at assessment. These heifers are acclimatised with all treatments up to date and are stacking the weight on. They have been rotationally grazing on cereal crops that have ample food on offer due to the soft winter. They have been bunk trained in containment at purchasing and are pleasant to work. They were purchased in to graze winter crops and are being sold to make room for lighter weaners in preparation to lock crops up. They have had 2 x 5 in 1 and 2 x MH+IBR as well as a recent drench and are recording positive daily weight gains and starting to lay fat cover. Ideal to background for the strong feeder or kill markets with all of the preparation and expense behind them. Quality Angus heifers that are settled in their group and will remain as one until delivery. Vendor is offering other cattle in today’s sale.
