Steers behaved very well through yards. Only a couple stirred up slightly in crush but settled well once returned to mob. Considering first time back in yards since weaning it is a testament to the Wansey herds temperament

Buyers here is an opportunity to secure a VGQ line of the Wansey Downs Vendor bred weaned steers. Steers present in store condition showing good bone, depth and length and exceptional weight for age due to the British, Euro /Bos Indicus cross. Bred from Large framed Hereford and Hereford /Santa Charolais cross cows by Santa and Hereford Bulls, these steers are highly sought after by repeat feedlot buyers and are proven performers on Grass or grain. Steers are ideally suited to take through to Lucrative Pasture Fed Slaughter programs having never had antibiotics or grain alternately they were drafted into a tight 310-395 kg range to go straight onto feed for the Domestic Woolworths trade .Please note a couple of steers observed with slight blue blight scarring in one eye and 3 steers described with horn is only small weaner horn well inside ear .Vendor has 4 decks of sisters in this sale
