Comment on Fat Score 1 Cattle
Heifers are fit to travel up to 800 km from Kilterry in one lift. A 12 hour spell is recommended at 800 km. Best transport practices encouraged. Heifers were strong in yards at assessment however have light fat cover and are in store to backward store condition and would not recommend travelling further than 800km in 1 lift.

Generally good temperament. Majority good to handle both in and out of yards. Exposed to helicopter/Plane but mainly mustered with motorbikes. All settle down after being handled in the yards. These heifers are generally quiet and a pleasure to handle using appropriate handling techniques.
A high percentage of heifers pushed into to weighbox showing an eagerness to be outside the high pressure area, once exiting the headbail majority settled quickly and easily. no cattle considered aggressive.

3 decks of good quality Santa and Santa X Droughtmaster heifers ready to take through as feed on heifers or join to the bull of your choice.
Heifers are in a light store condition predominately 2 and 3mm of fat and offer significant compensatory gain.
Heifers have enough quality to retain as breeders or grow out to feed on weights/join and trade.
Heifers are in a ticky area however had no visible tick at assessment having been pre-treated with Iverlab Pour on 3 weeks ago and again with TickGard at assessment, heifers would be expected to clear on the first dip with vendor guaranteeing the clearing at
registered tick clearing facility in either Julia Creek or Richmond or on farm clearing for QLD buyers..
90% reds with a small percentage of composite type heifers being black or showing some Brindle/Tan.
Heifers are drafted into a neat 85kg weight range and the 2 x lots of these heifers will be separated by the swing of the gate, actual assessment may vary slightly.
weight breakup across the 192hd is 60% 280-299kgs, 25% 300-319kgs and 15%.320kg+ (Full weights at assessment)
Heifers are unmouthed due to catch breaking on the headbail however a small sample of heavier heifers weighed 3 weeks ago where all milk and 2 tooth.
