Topeka 'Daisy' + Working Dog School for 2 People - Topeka 'Daisy' + Working Dog School for 2 People

• Topeka Daisy was born on 27th May 2024 and will be 5 months old at the time of auction. Daisy is a sweet natured black and tan female that is registered with the Working Kelpie Council. She is out of Topeka Roxy and is by Noel Ryan’s Ace (commonly known as McDougall’s Ace). Daisy was vaccinated on the 12th July and had her booster dose on the 12th of August, is microchipped and has been wormed regularly. She was been well handled, socialized with other dogs and has had lead and crate training. Noel Ryan’s Ace is owned and worked by Geoff McDougall (Nutrien Hay) and is one of his main dogs. A very good all-round dog, Ace is also a successful trial dog with some of his achievements including winning the 2021 Victorian Yard Dog Championship, the 2022 South Australian Yard Dog Championship and the 2023 Central Victorian Yard dog Championship. There is a link on our Facebook page “Topeka Kelpies” showing two of Ace’s runs in the final of the 2023 Central Victorian Yard Dog Championship. Topeka Roxy is an all-round type of dog she is stronger with her yard ability but still quite capable outside. Daisy is from Roxy’s second litter. We sold our pick of Roxy’s first litter at this year’s Jerilderie Working Dog Auction. At 13 months old age Topeka Paige sold for $7 500. Daisy is starting to get around her stock, she is showing calmness and a desire to head. She is quick on her feet when required and shows a keenness to walk up on her stock and with time and training should develop into an all-round dog. We will post updates of Daisy’s progress on stock as we get closer to the sale on our Facebook page and there will be some footage of her on the AuctionsPlus site prior to the auction. As well as Daisy we are also offering a half day working dog school for 2 people, which can be used with Daisy or on other dog/s owned by the successful purchaser.
