On offer is a great run of the Dawes Family 1st X ewes. This is the top draft of 230 out of 830 March/April 2024 drop ewes. The Dawes family have been breeding 1st X ewes for over 50 years since the inaugural Forbes 1st X Ewe Sale and have been sourcing their Merino ewes from the Hay district each year. They have also been purchasing top Quality Border Leicester rams from Glamis stud. These ewes show excellent growth with frame and stretch and show top characteristics of trueness to type in the 1st X breed. These ewes would bolster any 2nd X breeding operation. All health treatments are up to date. Ewes have also been OJD vaccinated (Gudair), market crutched and EID tagged for extra buyers confidence.
