Buyers, for your competition is a very good run of light weight mixed sex lambs that have in the past performed extremely well for their purchasers. The Buckeys Creek flock is very well managed, focusing on extremely high fertility and positive carcass attributes. Ewes are given a 6 week joining and then scanned. All empty ewes are culled. The White Suffolk cross over heavy solid Dorpers ewes has created a larger frame lamb that should feed on to heavy export weights with ease, the ewe lambs could also be retained for future breeders. These lambs are already trained onto feeders and are getting into the molasses lick. Should continue to keep moving ahead straight away.
