Assessor Comments
A well bred line of 1st cross wether suckers (Border Leicester/Merino) early April / early May drop. Bred out of large frame, plain bodied, Walkinder blood (WA bred ewes) by the New Armatree blood Border Leicester rams. These lambs are showing shape and good constitution for the breed and are well grown for their age. They have been market crutched at assessment. These 1st cross lambs are part of an annual turnoff of suckers with 3 other lots available in the same sale. These lambs have had a great head start with animal health up to date, weaned a month ago and having being started on grain they are responding well. These lambs are export potential and ideal to grow, shear and fatten into a bullish lamb market.
