Offering 224 future breeder merino ewe lambs. 100% “Brookside” blood (Armidale NSW) medium framed fine wool cutting Merryville based blood genetics. This line represents the October/November drop ewe lambs with a tail under 28kg removed. Vendor purchased the consignment as ewes with lambs at foot but due to the slow start to the season they are being offered for sale to make room for sheep that are all in containment. Original intentions were to retain the ewe lambs as breeders but the decision has been made to move them on. They are 3 weeks off shears and have been well shorn. They are on the do and will continue to mature into medium framed ewes with a spring in front of them. They were 100% assessed and weighed into a 19kg bracket ranging from 28-47kg at assessment. The wool off the complete drop tested at 15.5 micron. Ideal to secure future breeders before the pressure of the market hits in the spring. Vendor is offering first cross ewe lambs in today’s sale also.
