Ewe lambs that were assessed as a fat score 1 present in strong forward condition that will travel anywhere following the correct travel guidelines.These ewe lambs have been started on a containment feed lot ration for past 6 weeks which are powering ahead. These ewe lambs are only lighter due to being more August drop (younger) still displaying great frame/shape & depth for there age.

240 x Tidy line of Western Bred 1st X ewe lambs representing the 3rd draft offered by vendor which are JULY/AUG 2025 drop, NSM, JAN shorn, moderate - large frame & presenting in fresh forward condition. These ewe lambs are vendor bred out of finely selected large frame merino ewes by the renown Talbragar Border Leicester rams. The Gough family have been farming the Crainda district for over 100 years, in which they take pride in producing 1st X lambs which are able to hit the heavy export markets with the wether portion & target high fertility /great maternal attributes & large scale/depth for the ewe portion. E/L weight range 36-52kg & AVG 41.5kg which is an ideal weight/age for intended purchaser to take home let them develop & be able to join to ram of their own choice. Given the sheep industry climbing from strength to strength these ewes on offer have years of finely selected genetics behind them to produce for many years to come given the correct nutrition. Grazing Conditions
Due to dry conditions lambs have been locked in containment yards & fed a Barley/Faba Beans ration with access to hay for past 6 weeks. Lambs are roughly putting on 250 grams a day.
