Assessor Comments
On offer is a quality line of mixed sex Border Leicester Merino cross lambs. Lambs are weaned, vacc and in the process of being grain trained ready for finishing. Lambs have good shape and plenty of frame to hang some weight on with the added bonus of the ewe portion included also. Of lambs handled there was 34 ewes and 40 wethers. Lambs are bred out of large frame classed Merino ewes that are Wanganella blood. Lambs should continue to grow into export weight lambs if given the opportunity while having the option to keep the ewe portion for future breeders. A small tail was taken out prior to assessment. At assessment lambs had a weight range of 31-48kg to avg 38.9kg after an overnight curfew. Quality lambs you can buy with confidence.
