Assessor Comments
Offering 3 x 385 lots (total line 1155 of 2700 being offered in total) of tops all individually weighed 32kg plus. lambs well-bred 2nd x lambs. Weaned, booster vaccinated and drenched ready to go. Presented as is uncrutched, with only 10% showing major stain or dag. These lambs would be normally retained with 40 % of total lamb drop (2700) being sold as suckers unshorn by end Nov at 26kg dress weight plus. balance of entire drop would be shorn and run on Irrigation in summer. This last season all lambs sold by 1st week May at an overall 30kg mob ave dress weight but was an exceptional year. The property has undertaken a footrot program and was cleared 3 years ago by PIRSA. Since that date no sheep have been introduced to the property. Odd lambs presented sign of lameness but inspected some and feet sound, due to yarding 3 times in last 2 weeks into muddy yards has bought on this slight lameness. In paddock and mustering lambs walked in fine. Some lambs have been marked recently but all lambs are marked. Vendors selling due to property sale.

Comments: Check a few lambs showing lameness, not obvious signs of any issue regarding footrot or scold, these lambs yarded 3 times in 2 weeks in muddy yards. as mobs walked in a distance all walked well and fine.
