Rare offering of 820 x Aug/ Sep 2024 Drop Boxleigh Park/Coddington Uardry Blood Merino Ewe Lambs. Offered as the lead draft, the lambs have performed relatively well given the very dry summer and autumn in the Bookham district. Having had no supplementary feeding the lambs are healthy and will thrive if given the opportunity. The ewe lambs are genetically very well bred and present with excellent length of body and will offer astute buyers the opportunity to purchase light merino lambs that will offer compensatory weight gain. The lambs are sired by high indexing Boxleigh Park rams with a strong focus on the DP+ index. Breeding ewes on Bogolara are characterised by carrying soft crimpy wools on a medium/ large plain skinned frame. Note: DPT will offer 2500 merino lambs in today’s sale, giving buyers the chance to purchase the complete drop of lambs. No lambs will be retained as the property is being leased. To be offered as 2 x 410 head and delivered run out the gate.
