Assessor Comments
Offering 900 head as 2 x 450 head to be delivered as a run out the gate. October drop with all the time ahead of them to utilise winter and spring feed before being killed. Alternatively they would be suitable to run on as wool cutters given their genetics. Purchased direct the breeder “Ruby Hills” Walcha as the tops of the drop with a 10% tail removed. They have been averaging over 200 grams a day since arrival and are acclimatised and powering away on cereal crops being grazed in rotation. Presenting even as a line weighing from 28-49kg at assessment with a 220 head sample weighed through the auto scales. There is the odd ewe lamb in the line with some marked in the ewe and wether ear. They were drenched with Pole-Axe to give them a guaranteed clean out and now present healthy and with energy. As a grown sheep the flock would typically average around 17.5 micron of high value wool. Currently with a staple length over 30mm they are producing decent growth and giving the purchaser a good start towards a wool clip. Road train access to the property is possible with the correct permits. Should you require any further information please call.
