This is the lead draft of 600 Southdown Merino X lambs (run out gate of 1200) averaging 38.5kgs liveweight at assessment. All lambs were weighed out 35kgs + and were drenched with Cydectin & Nutrimen Mineral drench at weighing.
These lambs have been weaned 4 weeks and are on fresh green improved pastures. They are a nice line of well shaped store lambs that are ideal to turn out and fatten for the trade or export markets. The vendor purchases top Nareen Station bred ewes annually from Nareen, and sources rams with high growth rates and EMA data from renowned Southdown Stud Athlone.
