These lambs are young weaned unshorn merino wether lambs, same condition they have been in since the vendor started offering lambs on auctionsplus 15 years ago. Strong healthy lambs, full of vigour, ready to be delivered and continue growing and developing into top wool sheep or for the trade and domestic markets. Refer to videos.

This is a draft of Nareen Station bred merino wether lambs, located at Boyong, Mt Benson SA. These lambs are part of the Nareen Station Annual Production Sale. Nareen Station aims to breed sheep that are highly profitable and easy care. The breeding objectives in the commercial flock are to have adult sheep which are 18-19 micron and capable of cutting large quantities of white, bright wool on a plain bodied sheep. These lambs are ideal to purchase for wool production, further fattening or future export markets. Please note that the vendor has approx 1500 wether lambs in today's sale.

Bloodlines
Nareen Station operate their own self replacing flock with recent genetic influences from Glenlea Park, Ridgeway Advance and Connewarran Merino Studs.
Grazing Conditions
These lambs are currently grazing irrigated lucerne paddocks. At weaning lambs were grain trained with mature sheep receiving 1.5kg of barley per head per week via a trail feeder, however lambs have had no grain since arriving at Boyong earlyDecember
Trained On Grain
Yes - From weaning, lambs were being fed 500 grams of barley per head, 3 times a week via a trail feeder through until they were delivered to the Boyong Pivots in early December.
