Assessor Comments
Buyers a good line of Merino Wethers which have been bred on the Merryville bloodlines since 1988. These Wethers are an ideal article to take on as woolgrowers or to take through to heavier weights to suit export and domestic markets. 20% of total number were mouthed and weighed at assessment with 36% being noted as Hoggets and the remaining 64% being noted as Lambs. Vendors have used Merryville Bloodlines over a number of years focusing on good frame, micron and minimal wrinkle throughout. Given the opportunity these Wethers should grow into big framed Woolgrowers. Please note that Wethers had 4ml of rain on them before assessment as seen in the photos and videos.
