Merino Flock Dispersal.
This is the 5.5 year old line of July Shorn Merino ewes, part of the Stepnell Family Merino Flock Dispersal.
These ewes were joined last year to B/L rams for a late spring lambing, and have only recently had those lambs weaned off them. They are well grown sheep with an 8 month pelt. The flock average across the merino sheep is between 18.5 & 19 microns. All of the merino sheep on offer today are one mark, and purchased annually from renowned local breeder 'Pretty Tower', and are the only sheep the vendor brings onto the property. These ewes would be ideal to join to either merino or crossbred rams, and are well on the way with approximately 8 months wool.
Please note the vendor has approximately 1800 ewes ranging 2.5-5.5 on auctionsplus today.

Stock History
These ewes are bred on Pretty Tower at Stoneleigh. Each year, the vendor purchases ewes direct from Pretty Tower for their crossbred breeding operation.
Bloodlines
These ewes have been bred using top Stockman and Willandra genetics. They have since been on the Stepnell property used in their crossbred operation.
Grazing Conditions
Currently grazing dried cocksfoot/clover pastures. Also being supplementary fed silage, and have been trail fed barley for 4 weeks.
