Assessor Comments
A very well presented line of young ewes that would be an asset to any breeding operation, a rare opportunity from a breeder that has never offered young ewes before. Vendor has been breeding quality Merino ewes for 5 generations, prior to the past 6 years ewes were bred along Woodpark Merino blood, more recently they have been purchasing rams in the top 5% of the Borambil and Terrick West Poll Merino sales to improve genetics and style. The wether portion of this drop performed outstanding at Gundagai Meat Processors GLQ5+ score proving the investment in genetics are paying off. This line of ewes averaged 16.8 Micron and 3kg's skirted 4 weeks ago at shearing and will continue to improve on wool cut with age, this line represents new age breeding with old style values and would be a welcomed asset to any breeding flock or the perfect starter mob, they come highly recommended.
