Assessor Comments
A good line of 125 x Sep/ Oct 2024 Drop NSM Merino Ewes. The ewes are Fullerton Merino blood and offered for sale as surplus unjoined maidens. Fullerton Merino ewes mature into medium to large framed tablelands sheep, they produce free growing, soft, crimpy white wools of 17 - 19 micron. Buyers will benefit from productive wool growers who are free in the skin and will produce early maturing cross bred lambs. Suitable ewes for buyers who wish to join for a later lamb, equally they provide an attractive option to background for a spring joining or to finish for a late winter kill. The Cartwright family are passionate sheep breeders and in along with wool production are focused on fertility. Ewes generally lamb in excess of 115% to ewes joined in a high stocking rate, cold environment. Very productive sheep.
