Assessor Comments
This mob of first cross ewes with second cross lambs at foot presents a strong offering. The ewes are in very good condition and have held up exceptionally well through the recent cold, wet weather. Majority of ewes are a large frame & have been doing a great job on lambs with most presenting in excellent condition. Lambs averaged 23kg. note: tail of approximately 8%. Some ewes have begun self-weaning lambs, yet those with younger lambs are maintaining good milk supply, ensuring the continued growth for younger lambs in mob. The oldest age group of ewes were mouth, with all having sound to slightly worn teeth (refer to photos). in recent years ewes have produced top quality second cross lambs and will continue to do so. This is a Full dispersal of vendors 1st cross ewes.
