Buyers, to be offered for sale are 140 Primeline Ewe lambs SIL at 141%. An excellent quality line of vendor bred young ewes joined to Lambpro Primeline Rams for a mid August through to the end of September lambing. Yullundry Pastoral Company have been breeding Primeline sheep for 15 years, purchasing high indexing rams annually from the Lambpro sale. Breeding objectives concentrate on the maternal attributes of the breed including fertility and mothering ability, combined with the commercial focus of growth, muscle, positive fat and marbling. Rams selected must have black hooves, dark pigment in the nose and eyes, clean & even skin and structurally correct in the legs, back and head carriage. Yullundry is a supplier of Lambpro’s branded products Willowbend and Kinross Station. These ewes are classed in breeders and are only being offered to the market as they are surplus to vendor demands. June/July 2025 drop, averaging 63.8Kg at assessment, these ewes demonstrate a medium to large frame with long, deep barrelled bodies, consistent with the breed. Shorn at assessment. Ram team used for this joining averaged $7500/ram, average Lambpro index 137.7 and average MCP+ index 183.3. These sheep come with the highest recommendation.
