GOOD - LARGE FRAMED BREEDERS CARRYING PLENTY OF BUCKLE & ARE IN PRIME CONDITION WITH A SMALL % FORWARD STORE. BRED OUT OF LARGE FRAMED POOGINOOK EWES. DEEP BODIED WITH GOOD BONE & SQUARE FRAME. WERE SCANNED MONDAY THIS WEEK IN HOT CONDITIONS, SO DECIDED TO JUST SCAN FOR LAMBS TO MINIMISE HEAT STRESS. THESE MATRONS USUALLY SCAN AT 135-140% & WILL REAR THAT NUMBER TO WEANING. EXCELLENT MOTHERS THAT HAVE PRODUCED HIGH YIELDING SUCKERS INTO BREAKOUT RIVER MEATS, COWRA. WERE TO BE RETAINED BUT A MAJOR FENCING A WATER INFRASTRUCTURE PROGRAM IS BEING PUT IN PLACE, SO THEY NEED TO GO. GOOD HONEST EWES THAT STILL HAVE PLENTY OF LIFE LEFT IN THEM & WILL GO A FEW MORE ROUNDS FOR LAMBS.
