Assessor Comments
On offer is a line of 195 White Dorper ewes, ranging from 1 to 4.5 years of age (see age break-up above). The red tag ewes were purchased ex Brimin Ag, "Taraddi", Euabalong West in 2023 and the younger ewes are the progeny of these ewes. The ewes have 100 lambs at foot ranging from 1 week to 12 weeks old. Of the 100 lambs, 42 younger lambs are unmarked (these lambs will be tagged prior to delivery). The marked lambs were vaccinated with 6 in 1 at marking. There were also another 66 larger lambs weaned off the ewes at assessment. Ewes have been running continuously with White Dorper rams, with the rams removed at assessment. These ewes present a good opportunity to get into a line of White Dorper breeding ewes, of which half are only younger ewes, combined with the lambs at foot and other ewes still to lamb.
