On offer is a high-quality line of six-year-old Pastora stud ewes. Proven breeders, these ewes marked 125% Merino lambs in 2026 and cut an average of 7.5 kg of wool at 17.2 micron at their annual shearing, late May.
These ewes have been retained within the Pastora stud to breed sale rams throughout their lives, demonstrating their quality and genetic merit. They have been classed annually by Tim Westblade and John Driscoll and would be a valuable addition to any commercial flock, whether joined to Merino or terminal sires.
The productivity of these ewes is further demonstrated by the entire Pastora 2025-drop Merino wether lamb cohort, which averaged $346.35 per head, in addition to cutting approximately $60 worth of wool.
Pastora is a leading seedstock producer of Merino rams in southern NSW and one of Australia’s most consistently successful studs in recent wether trials. Pastora teams regularly rank among the leaders for wool value in dollar terms while also achieving above-average growth, demonstrating Pastora's performance and profitability.
