210 SIL Composite ewes. All twin bearing ewes. They are 2021 drop (yellow tags) and were purchased as a complete dispersal from Orange NSW in 2023. The flock has been based on Cashmore Oaklea genetics for 20 plus years. They are all joined to a Cashmore Oaklea maternal ram, due to start lambing early June for 5 weeks (see joining dates). They are classed in ewes with sound udders and mouths. Last year the flock weaned 151% to ewes scanned in very trying conditions. The only reason they are being sold is due to seasonal conditions. They are currently locked in Containment receiving barley are hay. Their condition scores range from 2.7 to 4 to average 3.3 - 3.5. There is a lot of yellow tags broken or missing, I mouthed all ewes missing a tag, everything suitable was tagged with a pink post breeder tag.
