Assessor Comments
A very good line of 250 x Sep/ Oct 2025 Drop Merino Ewe Lambs. This group of ewe lambs are the last lambs bred in the Brokea merino program; buyers can take advantage of this last stage dispersal. This group of lambs are performing well on grazing wheat, they exhibit depth of body, stand on good bone and carry a heavy crimpy wool type. A 20% tail was removed at assessment, all lambs weighed out over 38kg and are in forward condition. Healthy lambs that will offer buyers an excellent opportunity to retain as breeders of the future, they are equally suitable for terminal lamb production. Bred from high performance Cottage Park sires selected for high quality wools on plainer skins and large frames. Brokea Pastoral are committed sheep breeders, all ewes are scanned annually, all empty ewes and ewes that lamb and lose are sold. Very worthy of inspection.
