A nice line of 6 decks of middle aged ewes, to be sold as 500 head. Or comfortable b-double load. Ranging from 2.5 to 6.5 years of age.Flock reduction of Cassilis Park blood merino ewes 142% SIL to New Armatree and Inverbrackie Border Leicester sires. Ewes are bred for fertility and to be low maintenance sheep of high production. Flock has been classed by Cassilis Park Stud principals James and Cam Armstrong for 25 years. The best of the mature age ewes have been selected to make up this line.Flock has been non-mulesed for 9 years and Responsible Wool Standards accredited for 5 years. Flock has been managed with a focus on low input-high output animals with strict zero tolerance for fly strike alongside zero preventative fly chemicals on mature age animals. Flock has been in 6 months shearing for 5 years, averaging 57mm SL and 19.5 micron.High indexing rams are selected for carcass and fertility traits. 100% of ewes green tag ewes mouthed at assessment as sound, none of the ewes in this group have ever had fly-strike.
