Morton Estate Angus Bulls
Our focus is on Docility - Structure - Longevity - Feed Efficiency
Formerly Willsbro Angus, Morton Estate bulls are grass reared to grow naturally, with longevity being at the forefront of our program. We also believe temperament and correct structure are of utmost importance for breeding functional sound cattle. These bulls are easy to handle on foot or with quad bike, they are fit and ready for work.
Over 38 years of breeding grass fed bulls has proven to produce a stronger animal that is productive for many more years than the breed industry average of less than 3 years working life. Many Morton Estate bulls are still actively breeding at 10 years of age. We have always had a focus on Feed Efficiency with the majority of our cow herd above average for this trait.
These bulls have been checked by Coolah Vet Clinic for structural soundness, and for fertility via palpation and crush side semen test, plus morphology analysis done.
All bulls, except T20, are Herdbook Registered with Angus Australia and are free of Genetic Defects by pedigree. T20 is APR registered.
All bulls have been HD50K Genomics tested for higher accuracy EBVs, and are DNA parent verified.
All bulls are negative for Pestivirus by DNA -hair test method.
All bulls are up to date with drench and vaccinations with 7 in 1 and Virbovax.
