Assessor Comments
Cows and calves on offer that were purchased PTIC to Angus bulls in February this year from AuctiosPlus. Cows are young and fertile, with oldest cow 2 years old. Cows were weighed after a big curfew. These cows have done an excellent job on the calves and offers the buyer an opportunity to trade into cow and calf split, with high chance of cows being back in calf to good quality Moongool Simental and Munnabah Santa Bulls. Cows are best described as medium frame with some large frame and some small frame. The calves at foot are in fresh sappy condition with an average of 172kg, with nearly all showing Angus and Red Angus characteristics, but please use photos as your reference. All animals were backlined in early October. One cow knocked her hip in the yards while drafting, there was no limp or obvious sign of pain. She was given penicillin at assessment. One cow had a toenail split.
