Assessor Comments
A deck of ptic angus/friesian x heifers with all their life in front of them. 20% look to have a second cross of angus in them. They were purchased from the south coast of NSW. They were joined in mid December to an angus/santa x bull (see photos) and should commence calving in mid September, except for a couple that could calve in June. The cattle have seen plenty of quality feed and have put all their energies into their pregnancy as they have remained in light condition despite the feed. They are very healthy and will continue to gain weight and fat cover going forward. A couple of heifers do have a reddish tinge which could go back to a shorthorn or a jersy. These ptic heifers are in their working clothes and should be seen as good value going forward.
