Comment on Fat Score 1 Cattle
Cows have minimal fat cover due to calves at foot. On a rising plane of nutrition and have calved with excellent body score, therefore strong to travel 800 km with a break required. If travelling further after a spell cows appear to be very capable of going further .

Cows can be anxious under pressure in yards, they are sensitive to pressure but not aggressive. On vehicle inspection cows were generally settled. Cows generally settled once in cooler after processing. Used to overhead draft only.

Quality line of brahman cows and calves. 100% Calves at foot & average 96kg. Generally store condition, Calves by good quality red brahman "Bungoona & Gypsy Plains" bulls. These cows are generally Strong bone, medium to larger frames with ample body score to rear calf. 31% 9years and younger, 56% x 10yrs to 13yrs. Colours include 40% grey, 22% red, 17% honey & 11% brown, 10% creamy. Approx 10% of cows display long toes, 5% with a hip off, 3% lame, 3% with a 1/4 udder unusable & 10% show fly bite none of which does not appear to be affecting animal performance. Possible 1 hd with small dog bite scar. Opportunity to source cows & quality replacement female calves from a quality brahman herd, with majority "Bungoona" brahman bloodlines. Temperament is sound on the mob but experienced handlers are recommended. Restocker quality OR split & fatten, cows & calves that will be ready to wean in a few months.

Line of our Cull for age cows from a large breeder herd north of Julia Creek. These cows have been good performers from our herd & are only removed due to age. As with all aged cows there is some that get temperamental if over handled.
