Temperament not assessed in Paddock
All cows worked well through an average set of portable panel yards. Some cows did become agitated in the pound & crush when isolated from their mates. They did however settle down when returned to the mob. Definitely no cows considered aggressive. The calves became very stressed when separated from their mothers with some getting quite aggressive. This would be the first time the calves have been handled so would not be uncommon considering their age . Allow time to settle on arrival.

Assessor Comments
A good quality line of young crossbred cows with calves at foot. These 1st calf breeders have there life in front of them & have been joined back to an Angus bull giving the purchaser an opportunity of some being back in calf. They have done a magnificent job on their first calves with the calves averaging 210kg. Please note 1 cow had old scarring in 1 eye & another cow had a small lump on her side with neither being detrimental to the cow's health.
