Heifers were a pleasure to handle right throughout the drafting, weighing & photography process. At no stage heifers showed any signs of agitation. This process was very quick as cows are well handled through Pibbon yards all the time.

A small line of moderate frame Red Angus Heifers, 26-28 months of age presenting in strong store condition, PTIC (3.5-5months) for their 2nd Calf to Pibbon Red Angus bulls. Opportunity presents in purchasing plenty of youth with heifers mouthed as 2 teeth & having their 2nd calf. Great temperament in which all the hard work has been done ready to commence calving in the late winter months. These heifers have all had calves weaned off them going through some tough seasonal conditions which they displayed great maternal attributes. With these heifers already having a calf gives the intended purchaser relief with proven calving ease. Heifers will respond given the correct nutrition. Dansons believe in moderate frame heifers being able to join at lower weights & capitalize on early fertility. Breeders are the future of the cattle industry. Note vendor has some PTIC cows in same sale.

We are very proud of Donor Jean P303 – the mother ship. Jean B21’s progeny directly shows the power and consistency of our cow lines here with 9 lots represented. P303 has been a very successful donor for us and is a prolific egg producer, averaging over nine eggs per flush conventional. Her eleven sons that have gone through the sale have consistently featured in our top pens. P303 is the most impressive cow in the flesh showing phenomenal capacity, consistent with Premier Guardian and the renowned Premier Jestress H66 cow in her paternal pedigree. Her eggs raised $5050 each by Rob and Tania Jarret in 2022 at the Molong Flood Charity Auction and we raised over $20,000 for flood victims in all.
