While not handled for this assessment I am very familiar with herd, the property, cattlemanship the management practices employed. The Killarney cattle are very highly regarded for their temperament. Like most Northern Brahman's, some may become agitated if isolated or overly pressured but quickly calm when returned to their mates.

Assessor Comments
A terrific run of highly regarded Brahman cattle. Absolutely A grade live export feeders with enough breeding, frame and scope to thrive in a domestic backgrounding or feedlot environment. The Killarney cattle enjoy an enviable reputation for high performance in Australian grazing and feedlot production systems as well as being highly sought after in Indonesia. The vendors constantly challenge their bull suppliers with improvements in their genetics utilising buyer feedback. This is a long held policy and one that has seen Killarney be at the very top of the Northern Brahman supply pool for many years. All cattle are born and bred Killarney with best practice used around handling, weaning process and animal health. The cattle sent to Woolner Station Floodplain are selected with care to ensure best outcome from a performance perspective but also with consideration to potential buyers. Not too many opportunities like this exist where you get the opportunity to purchase such numbers in one line with such a transparent process that has a clear outcome at the end of the auction. There were just over 4,100 head consigned therefore we have rounded down for safety on numbers (all mustered cattle are available to the buyer). **Delivery is offered over the weighbridge Noonamah with all costs: dipping, clearing, spelling and onward freight on a/c Purchaser. 2 deliveries is possible however we can't guarantee the sex break up per load if that was the case.

Vendor Comments
Very proud of this year's floodplain turn off - they are responding well to the high quality feed as well as the urea/phosphorous/garlic lick supplement. The cattle are in strong, store condition ready to thrive either on grass or in a feedlot.
