Assessor Comments
Moira plains herd dispersal of 60 x 60 continuously joined mixed age cows and calves. Cows are doing a fantastic job of their calves after having a tough year season wise and are on the rise after recent rains in the area. Cattle present a great oppurtunity to trade once calves are raised or to add numbers to an existing herd. Moira plains herd is based on Kidman blood and cows are running with Hereford and Santa bull. Calves are unmarked and have only had a NLIS tag put in. All cows were mouthed at assessment with one presenting as broken mouth the balance being Milk through to sound full mouth. Cows stand as predominately moderate frame, 52 of the calves are sired by the Hereford bull and 8 by the Santa bull. Buyers please note 14 of the calves have ring worm please see photos.
