Mixed age draft of PTIC Angus and Speckle Park cows that are being offered regretfully due to ongoing dry conditions. These cows have been a main part of Yellowie’s breeding herd. Yellowie have been buying Angus bulls from Pathfinder for the last 10 years and have seen massive improvements in their genetics in this time and have been selecting bulls that are at or above the sale average. Yellowie have also been purchasing Speckle Park bulls from Minnamurra for the last 8 years and have been very pleased with the results. The selection of bulls from both breeds have been focussed on low birth weight, high fertility and correct structure. These cows are an ideal opportunity for a reinvigoration of an existing herd or certainly a massive leg up for a new herd. All cows have been running with Angus and Speckle Park bulls and are due to start calving early August through to mid October 2025.
The majority of these cows had calves weaned off of them for 5-6 weeks, some 2 weeks.
