Heifers were extremely agitated in the crush, 2 out of the 8 in the yards after being weighed and tagged and confined in a small space were extremely difficult to deal with. In the paddock heifers did calm down but 2 were very stand off and didn’t like me walking around and photographing.

heifers presented are exceptionally bred, demonstrating outstanding genetics and breeding quality, primarily by Sprys Shorthorn bloodlines. These heifers exhibit excellent breeding potential, which is reflected in their strong frame and desirable stretch, indicative of their quality and potential for future productivity.
The heifers are currently accompanied by good calves at foot, further underscoring their reproductive ability and the strength of their breeding. Their stature and frame are notable, showing good overall balance and conformation, suitable for both immediate productivity and future breeding prospects.
Handling-wise, these heifers are very stirry in the yards and crush, displaying typical excitement when confined. However, their temperament is markedly easier in the paddock, where they are very manageable and calm under less restrictive conditions.
