The cows are V/G to handle in yards and crush with 2 cows fussing when isolated in the crush otherwise display the typical quiet temperament of the Latrobe herd. Walking between yards the cows meander through gateways yet know their way around and way home - and were keen to be released to the paddock after 36 hours yarded.

Assessor Comments
Very good quality PTIC Droughtmaster cows from the Latrobe Droughtmaster stud & commercial herd. These are classed cast for age breeders - proven matrons and test up well in calf, they just keep getting in calf. The Latrobe cattle carry a great reputation for performace in feedlot or grass finishing and are excellent exhibits of the Droughtmaster breed. Any close to the head horn is either clear of the skin or loose horn with the vast majority poll bred. Fantastic cast for age proven breeders - well up in calf and known to produce outstanding progeny. A great opportunity to secure Latrobe Droughtmaster genetics. 1 deck of conventional - Non Org or EU cows & 2 x B-Doubles of EU, USDA ORGANIC & NCO offered as 58 & 59 to be delivered as a fair and even run also in the same sale.
