Heifers handled well throughout the assessment process. Heifers drafted from calves without issue, calves were flighty when isolated. Heifers flowed through backyards, force & weigh station efficiently. 9 heifers were noted to become agitated in weigh station exiting with haste, settling when united with mob. 2 heifers continued to be alert/ agitated post weighing.
Heifers were accommodating when being maneuvered on foot in back yards for photos & videos. See media for further reference.

78 x 78 - 1st calf Angus Heifers with 78 Ben Nevis Sired Angus calves at foot.
Heifers have been re-joined to Stud Ben Nevis Angus bulls for a 8 week joining period.
Hfrs present in plain store to forward store condition, heifers are cleaned up in their coats & are improving in condition with the improvement in seasonal growth.
Calves have been marked late December & present in fresh store condition. Heifers & calves condition is indicative of the dry seasonal conditions experienced throughout Spring & early Summer, and due to seasonal conditions heifers spent 2 months on the road prior to calving. Heifers were subject to a 12 hour curfew prior to assessment. 3 heifers were noted to have vaccination lumps on neck, 1 old blue eye noted.
Sale of heifers presents an opportunity to purchase a line of 1 mark young breeding females with calf @ foot & rejoined, all the hard work has been completed. Heifers considered suitable as replacement breeders in most commercial Angus Operations.
