HERD DISPERSAL (Property Sold)
Calves are sired by Yalgoo Nairobi a son of Techno purchased 2020 for $14,000 & Oak Tree Master.
Cows stand on good bone & are bred from a good doing herd of cows that milk well & perform well breeding progeny that are well sought after often by repeat buyers.
The Tirranna program has had a long focus on selecting Hereford sires with high growth, EMA EBV's in the top 20% of the breed & true muscle & butt shape. NOTE 2 cow slight blue eye not considered detrimental. 7 cows noticed with long toes but still walking sound (No limp) 6 cows noticed with 1 or 2 bottle teats. All calves are healthy & getting plenty of milk. A good group of older cows ideal to fatten & split. The long toes noted may have been caused by some grain feeding in 2019 drought. Otherwise the Tirranna herd has always been very good & sound feet.
