On a whole cows handled really well. 2 cows in particular did not like being in the handled, they were rushing through open gates & were highly agitated, especially when pressure was applied, nothing aggressive. I'd recommend that with these 2 cows in the mob however that inexperienced stockpersons not be in with them. Generally several cows became slightly agitated on scales/crush, but quickly calmed once released. Cattle are handled easily enough with vendor on her own.

Assessor Comments
When opportunity knocks! 20 x 20 Angus, Angus cross cows with F1 Speckle Park calves at foot. These heiferettes were purchased as heifers ex TRLX and have been calved down to either Oakey Creek or Three Way Speckle Park sires. The heifers are doing an amazing job on their first calf, with calves being fresh to 4 months of age, averaging 111kg. These units will not disappoint, they are being offered for sale because they are surplus to the vendors needs. The heifers are predominantly medium frame with some (say 6) showing very slight signs of some SG cross in them. Please note; at least 6 heifers were seen with blue eye scarring, 1 has a lump on her shoulder & 3 have slight white on their udders nothing considered detrimental. Calves are unmarked (they have NLIS tags) there are 7 bull calves and 13 heifers. 1 calf is a red speckle. Calves being F1 provide a great opportunity to step into the Speckle Park breed. Vendor has weaners in todays weaner & yearling sale.
