Walked quietly into yards. Handled easily thru yards & look to rejoin the mob. Protective maternal instinct but no fiz at all whilst yarding & handling.

A good run of 35 young angus composite cows. Purchased in from noted breeders including KB & L Zahl, Kirkwood Trust “Disney Station” All have their 2nd calf at foot.
The cattle are principally good frame young cows that will continue to grow. I would consider 4 are smaller framed.
4 were noticed with minor old eye clouding. One baldy face cow.
Two marks in this mob being purchased from well bred breeders at Springsure & Clermont.
35 calves at foot (approx average 112kg) include black, speckle and red hides but all are by quality Minnamurra Speckle Park bulls. Redepastured to a good quality MPC Speckle Park bull.
Cows have really milked up after recent rain and green pick with the calves responding well.
Mothered out on farm. Calves marked and vaccinated with 7 in 1 after assessment.
These represent good young breeders with many years in front of them.
