Assessor Comments
A nice line of one-mark, Angus cow & calf units, all on their first calf & continuously joined to Te Mania bulls since calving. These heifers are developing well & producing plenty of milk for their first time around, which is evident in the sappy Baringa Angus sired calves at foot. These heifers are very quiet, & were a pleasure to handle through the yards, crush, & also the paddock, where it was necessary to take the photos, due to boggy yards from recent rain. 1 heifer is presenting with traits consistent with having a small amount of Santa influence, despite being assessed as 100% Angus x Angus at time of purchase (last 3 photos). Cows have been running continuously with the TeMania Angus bulls since calving, however continued joining would be advisable due to the age of the younger calves. A great opportunity to secure quality, proven young breeders which have calved unassisted with ease, with fleshy Angus calves at foot & a lifetime of production ahead of them.
