Temperament not assessed in Paddock
A good quite line of Charolais X calves and heifers, during assessment none took fright of interaction within yards. All heifers flowed through the yards well with a small percentage becoming slightly stirry during mouthing. None of the stirry heifers became aggressive as temperament is a key feature with all of the Spring Park Station cattle. Calves very much the same with all being very quite during weighing and handling.

Assessor Comments
21 Charolais X heifers with 21 Charolais X Angus calves at foot. A quality line of Palgrove blood heifers with 15 PTIC heifers joined back to top quality LBW Angus Bulls, all heifers and calves are well up to date with health treatments, ready to hit the ground running. Temperament is a key feature with these cattle with both the heifers and calves having had interactions within the yards. A very good line of heifers and calves, would make for excellent future breeders and weaners given the right opportunity. Buyers note: one heifer had pink eye scaring but didn’t effect vision or health also, observed one heifer had a cyst growing on side of rib area again heifer was in excellent forward condition with no visible health implications.
