Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Cows are generally good to draft and had plenty of block and stop in them, they do have some run in them and were unsettled when under pressure in the crush, but calmed down well once back as a group. We did mouth each one so explains why they did become unsettle in the crush as well.

Assessor Comments
The 2nds of the PTIC Bos Indicus cross cow, these heifers are the medium frame heifers and calves are taking a bit more out of them as well, please note they have been assessed after a full overnight curfew after preg testing. They are doing an outstanding job on the weaners at foot, who wont be weaned until delivery. Predominately flat back cows that whose progeny would suit a range of markets, especially with the Te Mania angus calves inside them now. At preg testing there was 15 cows that tested 4 to 6 months in calf and are marked with pink paint. Only 1 cows noted to have some small scarring in one eye, no other faults noted. Not all age brands were visible so age is an approximation based on their mouths.
